Award „The 125th anniversary of the Orient-Express“
In June 1883 the legendary train de luxe “Orient Express” started for the first time.In memory to this event the Railway Radio Amateurs
(EFA) of DARC issue the following short-time award.
This award could be request by transmitter amateurs and observer amateurs (SWL) from 1. July 2008 until 31. December 2009.It
counts all contacts with the countries which the train passed without any time-limit.
There are: Great Britain, France, Germany, Austia, Hungary, Yugoslavia now Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
It counts all Bands and Modes without PR and ECHOLINK.
Applicants need 7 of above mentioned countires. This award can be issued for one Band or Mode. An application with a list of confirmed
contacts (GCR-list) must also contain the applicant’s name, address and callsign.
Fee for foreign applicants: 5 IRC’s or 10.00 US$
